The whole experience was very disappointing.

Menu offerings are creative yet easily approachable, with balanced, complex flavors. The salads, too, are refreshingly well crafted. The wine list is incredibly robust with deep regional categorization. Our server (Chris) caught all the details without imposing, and even made arrangements for us to receive an item that he heard us mention in passing.

We have not tried the steak options, but honestly, with so many uniquely stacked offerings in the canape, appetizer, salad, house made pasta, and fish sections, we're likely to stick with enjoying their truly differentiated offerings. If you love surprisingly clever bites, this kitchen will not disappoint.

A few days before the proposal, I stopped by the restaurant to discuss my plans with the team. They were incredibly accommodating and helped me select the perfect table for such a special occasion. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that everyone genuinely cared about making the evening unforgettable. One of the hostesses even went out of her way to distract my fiancée while I spoke with the manager to make sure everything was set and ready.

The atmosphere was absolutely perfect - elegant, warm, and romantic. The service was exceptional from start to finish, and the food somehow exceeded our already high expectations. The New York strip was, without question, the best steak either of us has ever had.

What truly set the experience apart, though, were the thoughtful touches from the staff. They generously surprised us with a bottle of champagne and dessert to celebrate. Even more meaningful, the entire team signed a congratulatory card for us and took a Polaroid photo that we were able to keep as a memory of the night.

Mister Charles made us feel genuinely special on one of the most important days of our lives. The level of hospitality, attention to detail, and care they showed was extraordinary. We will absolutely be back for many anniversaries in the years to come.

I would give more than five stars if I could. Thank you to everyone at Mister Charles for helping make our engagement so memorable.

The staff was very attentive and professional, making the whole evening feel special and well taken care of. The service really matched the high-end atmosphere of the restaurant.

It is definitely on the expensive side, but you’re paying for a five-star experience—from the food to the service and the overall ambiance. Overall, an awesome place for a special night out in Dallas!

We let the bartender choose our drinks, asking for something sweet and cute, and he absolutely nailed it. We started with canapés—literally one bite each, but just enough to set the tone for the meal. The corn and truffle beignets were very filling, though a touch heavy on the crème fraîche base.

The Spanish octopus was the standout of the night—so tender I don’t even remember chewing. The crab cake was fresh with great flavor, but we paced ourselves to save room for dessert. The chocolate cake was incredibly creamy and decadent.

This place is a whole vibe. I forget the bartender’s name but he took really good care of us. I’ll definitely be back.

The ambiance is very chic and moody - which I loved. It was a bit warmer than we would have liked - with the understanding that it is hot in Texas tho! But not a huge deal breaker.

Our waiter was lovely and very knowledgeable! The drinks were very good.

We ordered the carpaccio as our appetizer (although it was spicy, I didn’t mind it but my husband doesn’t eat too much spicy, so we sent it back and they remade it without the spicy sauce).

For dinner we ordered the scallops, beef Wellington and potatoes! We would order the beef Wellington again - it was yummy!
