We had a delicious meal tonight and met the owner. He was so nice and sweet. You must taste the spicy hummus, it’s to die for!

Update: I also use them for catering and Beau the owner is AMAZING! He does most of the deliveries himself and is always accommodating to our needs. This is the best Mediterranean in DFW in my opinion!

Love everything about this experience. The hospitality when we came in, to the kindness of our waiter, to the food taste and display! We ran out of pita with our 3 dip trio and we got more for no additional charge.

Very delicious, very flavorful, great music and awesome staff.

I always look forward to dinner at Cafe Izmir. From the moment I walk in, it feels warm and welcoming—like I’m visiting friends. There’s a real charm in the way the food smells, the staff treats you, and the place makes conversation flow easily. If you want tasty Med tapas and a place to slow down, Izmir’s got that mood.

This was my first time here. My sister's job had ordered from here. I had a very nice time. The food was really good. The staff was very attentive. It's rather small so I highly suggest making reservations. They had a musician playing and I really enjoyed that!

If you're searching for authentic Turkish and Mediterranean cuisine, Cafe Izmir is a hidden gem that absolutely delivers. I’ve dined at many Turkish/Mediterranean spots over the years, but this place is in a league of its own. The quality of the food is exceptional — everything is made fresh, and you can taste the love and tradition in every bite.

The salads are crisp and vibrant, the meats are tender and seasoned to perfection, and the sauces bring the whole meal together with bold, balanced flavor. Even the simplest items like hummus and rice have a depth you don’t find often. Every dish felt like it was made just for us — not rushed, not generic, but carefully crafted and full of heart.

And to top it all off, we had the pleasure of being served by Marcello, who was hands-down one of the kindest and most attentive waiters I’ve ever met. He was welcoming, professional, and truly cared that we had a great experience. He even made thoughtful recommendations that ended up being our favorite dishes of the night.

If you're looking for a place where authenticity meets excellence, this is it. Cafe Izmir is a must-visit.

Went for a birthday meal, turned out fantastic. Service was outstanding, we got to sample house wine before we ordered. My niece got a bottle of wine to take home for her birthday that we all got to sign compliments of the restaurant, was an awesome touch. The Sangria was really good I had saffron shrimp and rice tried the saffron chicken as well both were great. For this cuisine in this area of Dallas prices are really good

Food was good, service wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t good either. We had tabbouleh and a Russian chicken salad as an appetizer and a salad and chicken for our meal. The chicken was cooked well and not dry at all and the salad was good, I got it with falafel and the falafel was great.
At the beginning the waiter was attentive but after we were finishing up our meal and ask to get a box for our food and the check, we seemed to have been forgotten. Overall experience was nice, not a terrible place and the food was good.
