Our first time at McRae’s—but definitely won’t be our last! Food, atmosphere and service are top-notch. We tried the tenderloin crostini, tomato soup, salmon salad, pork chop with cherry compote. Carebear was amazing and made the night so fun! Hidden gem, for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The chicken fried venison was amazing. But the real star was the fig old fashioned, probably one of the best old fashioneds in Dallas

I’m still thinking about the shrimp and grits…and the wine! Superb. Dallas needs more places like this! It felt like we stepped into a New York bar. The vibe is moody and eccentric. The art is fun and eclectic and adds to the charm. Great service. Great food. Great people. Highly recommend for locals and as a place to bring out of town guests!

Great experience- food was fantastic, drinks were good, and service was on point despite it being crowded and busy. The Restaurant Week menu was excellent as well. We’re definitely coming back.

Love the elegant, elevated vibes here. It feels so fancy and unexpected on Garland Rd. A beautiful mix of feminine and masculine decoration and design with crystal chandeliers and heavy gold frames on the red velvet patterned wall paper. My husband says the fig old fashioned is the best old fashioned he’s ever had. My salmon was expertly cooked with a buttery crisp outer layer and so flavorful. And the flourless chocolate cake is to die for. Excellent service also! HIGHLY recommend!!

First off, this place is awesome. Service was exceptional. Food was great. I am not currently drinking, but the cocktail lists looked delicious. And decor was so cool and cozy. Gluten Free menu items clearly marked on the menu, and staff/management were knowledgeable. Love, love, loved it. We will be back. And with more people!
