The food at Léonie was good, but unfortunately, the security staff ruined the overall experience for me. There were several people taking pictures throughout the area. While I was standing in the area, not poolside, and waiting for my Uber to arrive, I was rudely told to leave. Meanwhile, a couple taking pictures in the same area was later asked to leave as well, but in a noticeably much more polite tone.

When I first arrived, I was already considering planning a staycation at the hotel because I initially enjoyed the atmosphere. However, after this experience, I know I will not be returning.

If the hotel restaurant is open to non-hotel guests, there should either be a clearly designated area where restaurant patrons are allowed to take photos, or policies should be enforced consistently and respectfully for everyone. The difference in how I was spoken to compared to other guests left a very negative impression.

Quite good Italian fare at fair prices (but beware the $20, short-pour cocktails). Excellent and knowledgeable service.

A word about atmosphere - it’s a lovely rooftop venue with nice views. But my SoundPrint app registered 75 decibels, which is right on the cusp of being considered loud. The music feed was a step or so too loud, and so voices tend to chase it.

I love coming here with my girls . I’ve had the same waiter twice He is sincerely the best and always makes my experience worth coming back. I wish I remembered his name, but he’s a gentleman with a piercing. His recommendations were on 10. This is definitely the spot to go with your girls at any time of the day the views are phenomenal and the food is always fresh and delicious. I love the whip ricotta with the focaccia and If you have a sweet tooth, the tiramisu is amazing . Most of their plates are absolutely delicious . Until next time, Leonies , Can’t wait to be back!

Our server and the restaurant interior was good, however the food was not much better if at all than cooking myself and portions were kind of small for $25+ meals. You will also get kicked out if you decide to take a second for pictures on the rooftop lounge.

Absolutely love this place. Service was top notch. Our server specifically was extremely attentive and helpful with the menu. Great for a birthday celebration. Every item ordered was delicious and priced fairly. Mocktails were wonderful and so was dessert! The views and decor were beautiful, as well. 10/10!!

Enjoyed the afternoon tea at Léonie this afternoon. It’s a special menu due to the Samurai exhibit at the museum nearby. It was very unique and creative. The service was wonderful. There was a large party in the other part of the space that made it extra loud throughout our time. The views were very nice. The restaurant manager was kind enough to check on us and get our feedback on their updated special tea menu that was for this weekend and next.

Amazing food and a great atmosphere. We ordered two appetizers and four different entrees, and everything was excellent. The crab cakes were especially delicious, and every dish was beautifully presented.

The sunset view over the pool made the experience even better. Complimentary valet parking is available through the hotel—just remember to bring some cash for a tip.

    Highly recommended!

This spot has been on my list of places to try in Dallas for a while, and I’m really glad I finally made it out.

Starting with the ambiance—it’s absolutely beautiful. The energy is very calm and serene, with great views of the DFW scenery. Walking into the restaurant, you’re immediately met with lots of greenery and thoughtfully designed spaces that create a relaxing, upscale vibe.

The food was a bit unique but overall really good. I brought a friend here for her birthday, and while her main dish initially came out at the wrong temperature, the staff handled it well. They took it back and, in the meantime, provided us with a complimentary appetizer so she didn’t have to sit there while I ate, which was a very thoughtful touch.

The drinks were also really good, and our waitress was amazing—attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. They also surprised my friend with a complimentary slice of cake for her birthday, which was a nice way to end the night.

Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back. Next time, I’d love to visit during the daytime to see how the atmosphere compares.

This experience was awesome. The ambience, food, and service was top tier. The cocktails (tiramisu martini) and scotch selection were great, and the coursing was very well paced.

Josh, the manager, came to speak to us, and explained the menu, views being on the 20th floor, and breakdown of the food. Russel took care of our table, gave us the explanation of each dish, and helped us with our wine pairing.

Overall, 10/10. Will be coming back, and would love to keep experiencing what Léonie has to offer going forwards.

I celebrated my 28th birthday at Leoni, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The rooftop view of downtown Dallas is absolutely stunning — easily one of the best in the city. The atmosphere and decor are elegant and modern, creating the perfect vibe for a special night out.

The food was delicious, and the service was outstanding — everything came right on time, and the staff was incredibly professional. Our waitress was especially kind and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch.

Overall, a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend Leoni for anyone looking to enjoy great food, beautiful views, and exceptional service in Dallas.

The hotel SWEXAN a a very swanky place to have a classy afternoon tea (and champagne). The ambience is dreamy. There is an enchanting vision as you enter and are seated. I'd describe Léonie as an unexpected enclosed lush mod garden with sparkle on top of Dallas. The views of Dallas are lovely. The staff is professional and friendly. Crystal went above and beyond in welcoming us and providing excellent customer service. The tea and food were delightfully sumptuous. We will certainly come back for tea and champagne.

I recently dined at Leonie, and it was an exquisite experience from start to finish. Nestled on the 20th floor of a downtown Dallas hotel, the restaurant offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement its culinary delights. The CHICORY CAESAR and HWD BEEF TARTARE were simply divine, each bite bursting with flavor and freshness. But the true star of the show was the day dried striploin – an absolute masterpiece of tender, succulent perfection.

The ambiance of Leonie is elegant yet inviting, creating the ideal setting for a memorable dining experience. From the impeccable service to the expertly crafted dishes, every aspect of our meal exceeded expectations. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Leonie is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking exceptional cuisine and stunning views in downtown Dallas. A five-star rating is well-deserved for this culinary gem

This place is a literal dream!!! The decor and atmosphere is top tier. Service was impeccable and food was delicious. Came on a Monday night for the “Taste of Léonie” and it was not very busy, so we were able to take plenty of pictures and even check out the little shop by the pool. This is the kind of place people dream of having lunch or dinner.
For Primo, I ordered the hot honey & fennel ricotta - it was creamy with that delightful hint of sweet and spicy. My friend ordered the Caesar salad and it looked so creamy and crisp; she said it was one of the best Caesar salads she’s had.
For Secondo, we ordered the 8oz HWD strip - it was good - not great. I ordered medium rare, but it was closer to rare (I didn’t mind too much and it still tasted good), but my friends was definitely more Medium well cooked. The strip had grit on one side of it, so I just cut that part off, but other than that, it was a good cut of meat and flavorful. I enjoyed the sunchoke purée with it - it was reminiscent of a chimichurri.
The star of the show though - the Mille-Feuille!!!! The pistachio with the tart cherries and sweet sugar coated puff pastry - literally was on a way one ride to heaven. It was a flavor explosion on my tongue and I will be back specifically just for that!
