The park was clean and the staff was friendly. There were lots of hands on activities for kids and tons of photo options. We will be back again many times.

The picture of otter was blurry because they moved so fast. I didn't want to share photos that had my daughter in it but she absolutely had an amazing time. She loves the otters and had absolutely loved feeding the giraffe. We had went around 1130 so there had been a line. But only two family was in front of us. Wait wasn't bad entering. Feeding giraffe around 3pm had a line but it was worth it. This is the first time my daughter ever gotten inside a zoo. She also loved that there was a big fan throughout the zoo with the water mist. On hot Texas days is a must for the out door walking so I appreciate that the zoo had this. Heat stroke isn't a joke and it's awesome they had this fan all over the zoo. Good food too where you can look out at the lions. One had staied near the window so it was awesome to see my daughter reaction. Lol I kinda don't get why she scared of crocodile but not scared of the big cat lol lions can be scary lol she is 9 lol . Very funny to witness lol. Ohhhh and they had two tiger cubs too !!! Not near this restaurant but it was amazing to see the cubs play

Great date during the day. Be prepared to walk 2+ hours. You can bring your own food and drinks which is a plus. Quite pricy but allowing to bring your own snacks helps manage the cost. Had a great time and is a family friendly experience.

I’ve been to the Dallas Zoo twice—once on the weekend and another time during the week on a school field trip—and I loved both experiences. The zoo is big, well maintained, and has a great variety of animals to see.

Even when it’s busy on weekends, it still feels fun and organized, and during the weekday visit it was much calmer and easier to explore with the students. The exhibits are really nice, and there’s plenty to do for both kids and adults.

Overall, it’s a great place to spend the day, whether you’re going with family, friends, or on a school trip. Definitely one of my favorite attractions in Dallas!

Really enjoyed our visit. It is large so if you want to do in one day get there at opening. The staff here were very willing to give info. We learned about Flamingos and Storks on which we didnt know before. We did the Destination Dinosaur for an add-on of $6 per person and if you have Dinosaur lovers this was worth it. It started as an uphill entrance but the trek was worth it. We enjoyed the animatronics. Looks like during warm warm weather there is a section called the splash zone where dinos spit water at you. At least the entry one did, it was closed when we went. It was cool weather for us but the animals loved it. We ate lunch at Cafe Meridan and for zoo food it was really good. Especially loved the hummus bowl. Pizzas were good, happy there was a GF one. Cheetah popcorn is good too. We also got burgers and they were on pair with David's Burgers.

We had an amazing time at the Dallas Zoo! The place is absolutely beautiful, super natural, and perfect for kids to explore and enjoy. There is so much to see and do – every step feels like a little adventure. The walking paths are peaceful, surrounded by greenery and animals in wide, natural-looking habitats.

My kids had so much fun walking around, discovering different animals, and enjoying the fresh air. It’s a great place for families to connect, learn, and create beautiful memories together. Everything is well organized, clean, and very family-friendly.

Highly recommend Dallas Zoo for a fun, relaxing, and educational day out with kids. Definitely worth visiting again!

Very nice. They do close early though so I'd recommend planning in advanced! My favorite animal was the gorilla and giraffe!

Our family has year round membership to the Dallas zoo. We go at least twice a month. Membership is so worth it. My son loves the dinosaur exhibit, which is also included in our membership. We have to see the dinosaur exhibit every time with visit the zoo, per our son's request! The new butterfly exhibit is great as well. The winter holiday lights at the zoo is coming soon. We hope the zoo will continue to have the interactive dinosaur shows with videos lights and sounds again. My son wanted to go every night last year just for that alone!

LOVE this zoo! So many fascinating species, in large, natural habitats. Animals look happy and healthy in their spaces. Keepers are knowledgeable and passionate about their animals.
Facility was large, but easy to navigate. I attended many of the keeper presentations and enjoyed the experience, good for many ages.
    -love a fellow zookeeper❤️

Came to visit the Dallas Zoo for the first time since I was a kid and I was so excited. I loved seeing all the animals I think I went to see every single one. I went with my family and we all enjoyed it very much. The Dallas Zoo is a place you must go to when visiting Dallas. You will not be disappointed.

I had a really good experience at the zoo. The place is well maintained, clean, and has plenty of space to walk around and enjoy at a relaxed pace. The animals looked well cared for, and there was a good variety to see—from exotic species to some more local ones. The facilities are clearly marked, making it easy to explore without getting lost.

I also liked that there were green areas to rest, food stands, and activities for kids. It’s an ideal spot to spend the day with family, a partner, or even alone if you enjoy nature and animals.

I definitely recommend visiting. It’s worth it.

I took my family to the incredible Dallas Zoo 🐘, and we had such a fantastic day! We explored many different habitats, from the African savanna to the primate section 🐒, and were amazed by the diverse collection of animals. The zoo is massive, offering a lot of fun for everyone, so plan for a full day of adventure there. I highly recommend visiting the Dallas Zoo if you're looking for a fun, educational experience with your loved ones 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. It's a wonderful place to create lasting memories with your love ones.
