The menu is filled with melt-in-your-mouth magic like the King Crab Cocktail, Lobster Rigatoni, Beef Wellington, and Tiramisu Cheesecake.

Our experience from the beginning to end was amazing. We were greeted at the car and escorted out from the street by a valet attendant, and into the elevator down to the restaurant. The ambiance from the moment the elevators were opened was a vibe. The live pianist, light chatter, and look of the restaurant was really nice. We waited at the bar for a seat near the waterfall as our reservation had us in the main dining room. It wasn't long before we were seated and was greeted by Brandon (BB) who then took it up another notch for us. BB was attentive and everything he suggested, we ordered and LOVED. The crab cake lollipops, roasted chicken, and the steak (I can't remember which he ordered but throughly enjoyed) were all very tasty, seasoned well, and cooked to perfection. It was my fiancés birthday dinner and he has talked about it for the last 3 days, that's how much he enjoyed it. If not for anything else, we'll return to enjoy BB in his section for a laugh or 2, along with his excellent service. Thanks again for the experience and great food Dakota staff, it was amazing and we'll be back.

Hands down the best steakhouse I’ve been till today! Our anniversary dinner for my wife and I was simply the best, with our server Judge making every moment absolutely memorable. We for sure will be back!

Last night we celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The entire meal was exquisite. It didn't seem expensive considering the quality of the food; we spent 279 between the two of us. I want to congratulate Brandon, our waiter, and the waitresses who pour water into the cups. Such wonderful service from the three of them. The waitresses at the entrance could really use a bit more charisma; they're a bit rough and serious.

10/10, will visit again when in town. Zachary C. was our server and the service was out of this world. I got the 14oz New York Strip, my mom got the 8oz Filet, and we shared sides of Asparagus, Mac and Cheese and Mashed Potatoes. Our bill was under $200! Very reasonable for the quality of service and the quality of food, felt very welcomed and the ambiance was incredible. Server always felt right on time and we never went without what we needed. Like I said, we will be back when we’re in town next. If I could recommend anything I would definitely recommend the filet, my mother got hers medium rare and it was PERFECT. I ordered my NY strip medium and wished I’d gotten it cooler! Overall, I was very impressed with this restaurant and wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Dakota's Steakhouse in downtown Dallas offers a dining experience that truly stands out. The water served here is among the best quality I've had in any restaurant, making a simple yet noticeable difference. The staff, including the managers, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience from start to finish.

The atmosphere at Dakota's is unbeatable, ranking in my top 10 restaurant ambiences worldwide. The elegant and inviting setting creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal.

As for the food, it did not disappoint. I had the ribeye boneless, cooked to a perfect medium well, while my father enjoyed the filet, also cooked to perfection. Both dishes were flavorful and expertly prepared.

The only reason I'm giving Dakota's Steakhouse four stars instead of five is due to the dessert, which didn't quite match the high standards set by the rest of the meal. However, this is a minor drawback in an otherwise exceptional dining experience.

Overall, I highly recommend Dakota's Steakhouse. Indulge in their offerings and enjoy the impeccable service and outstanding atmosphere.

Perfect anniversary dinner at Dakota’s Steakhouse!
We visited again for our wedding anniversary, and it was just as amazing as the first time. The fine dining ambiance is beautiful and made the evening feel really special. Our waiter was phenomenal so friendly, attentive, and bubbly, which made the experience even better.

We started with the crab cake lollipops appetizer — absolutely delicious! My wife had the Ora King Salmon, and I had the boneless short rib, both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For drinks, she ordered the Island Hopper and I had the Mint Condition both were excellent.

Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. Dakota’s never disappoints truly one of the best dining experiences in Dallas!

The steaks are nothing short of perfection: cooked exactly to order, seasoned beautifully, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. You can tell they use only the highest-quality cuts. The sides and appetizers aren’t an afterthought either—every dish is crafted with care and full of flavor. The wine list is impressive, and the staff is always happy to recommend the perfect pairing.

What really makes Dakota’s stand out, though, is the service. The team is attentive without ever being overbearing, making sure you feel taken care of from start to finish.

If you’re looking for a place that combines world-class food, top-tier service, and an inviting atmosphere, Dakota’s Steakhouse delivers on every level. Highly recommended!

Went here for a date night with my wife. The food was great, everything prepared as ordered. The atmosphere is wonderful. The only thing better than the food was the service. From the moment you walk into the restaurant they treat you very well. The hostess was very friendly and quickly showed us to our table. A huge shout out to Judge (his name, not his occupation). He was our waiter. Friendly and helpful. He made sure to check on us. The rest of the staff were also great. Our glasses were never empty. Everyone smiled and looked happy to be there. Seriously, the service was phenomenal. I'm sure all their waiters are great, but ask for Judge. Dakota's is definitely one of my favorite restaurants to have visited.

The experience was great. Nice date night with the wife. It is a high end steakhouse so definitely be prepared to spend above the norm ($350 for the two of us without desert). From the elevator down to the restaurant, to the waterfall view and the friendly staff, this made it a joy of a time. The hogs head old fashion was great, the pretzel bread with the salted butter was delicious. The ceaser salad we had before the main course was delicious. My wife had the boneless ribeye topped with black truffle butter and I had the Cowboy bone in ribeye. The sides come as full portions to share, we had the au grautin potatoes and the Mac and cheese. The side were fantastic, the wife enjoyed her steak. I'm pretty picky when it comes to my steak and tend to judge it pretty hard. My steak ended up being $98 by itself and I would say it was good. They stated that it was seasoned but honestly I really only tasted the beef. The cut of beef was good but not buttery tender which was kind of a let down but was still a good steak. Unfortunately I have to say that the bone in ribeye from Longhorn Steakhouse still has it beat for cheaper. I have said this about other high end steak houses as well. Again the experience was perfect for the date night and I'm not complaining at all, just wish the steak was a little bit better for the price.
