Our first time eating here based on Google reviews, and it definitely met expectations! The chorizo queso was great, the chips were crisp, and the spicy margarita was on point. We had a variety of tacos and they were all excellent… My wife loved the shrimp the best. A new favorite spot when we’re in Dallas.

🌮 Los Cuates Kitchen – A Hidden Gem of Veracruz Flavor

I had an amazing experience at Los Cuates Kitchen! The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and fast. This cozy spot serves truly authentic Mexican food from Veracruz, and it shows in every bite.

I highly recommend the cochinita pibil and the tinga—both were rich in flavor and perfectly seasoned. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, ideal for a relaxed meal with great company.

🍹 Drinks were on point too. I had a margarita that was refreshing and well-balanced, while my companion enjoyed a glass of Latin American wine and absolutely loved it. Their wine selection spans across the continent, which is a unique and thoughtful touch.

Overall, Los Cuates Kitchen is a fantastic place I’ll definitely return to. Next time, I’m excited to try their breakfast menu!

A hidden gem right off oak lawn and maple!

There is indoor and patio seating. For it being August, we were hesitant to sit outside but the fans made for a PERFRCT patio evening.

We were immediately greeted with ice waters and our server was super attentive.

App: chips and guacamole. The chips were hot, fresh, and crispy. The guac was a classic taste and perfect start to our meal.

Drink: there is a good cocktail menu, beer menu and wine menu. Star cocktails were not super sweet, which I appreciated. Just enough to hit the spot.

    Meals:
-mix and match tacos and enchiladas verdes.
We thought the tacos were going to be street taco size but were pleasantly surprised when they came out. The carnitas and barbacoas were a classic. The cochinitas was my favorite! If you like a hit of spice, this is perfect.
The enchiladas verdes was also delicious- the sides of black beans and rice were different in a sense they they felt lighter compared to other restaurants which I liked.

All in all for the price we paid and the quality of the food, it was a great experience! Will be back again, FOR SURE.

Each day of the week they have daily specials as far as food and drink combos, drink carafes and bottled wines, so be on the look out for those!

A few of us (6) stopped in after the Dallas "No Kings" march. They offered us both indoor or patio seating. It was a hot day so we chose to eat inside the air-conditioned restaurant. I had the roasted stuffed poblano and hash browns with a diet coke. I enjoyed my meal as did everyone else. Service was friendly and prompt. Definitely great brunch options !

Provides a charming ambiance, especially with its inviting patio. Our visit, however, coincided with a quiet evening due to the heat, leaving the patio notably empty. The most significant detractor of the night was the sluggish service in getting drinks and food to our table.

For a party of three, with two appetizers, three entrees, and six adult beverages, the bill came in at nearly $300, which felt a bit steep for the overall experience. On a high note, the kitchen absolutely nailed the rare-plus ribeye steak, cooked to perfection. Otherwise, the dishes were as expected. Despite the slow service and price point, we'll likely return to see if the service improves on a busier night.

If they have their delicious Mexican Style Rib special going, order it!

Spicy skinny margarita is a fantastic starter, but be careful. The margarita is actually spicy and it doesn’t do much to quench your thirst if you order something hot.
