    What makes it fun

The Bath House Cultural Center, nestled on the east shore of White Rock Lake, is the perfect spot to add a little culture to your romance. Originally built in 1930 as Dallas’s first municipal bath house, this space now dazzles as a vibrant cultural hub with galleries, theater, and more. With rotating art exhibitions, gallery talks, and hands-on workshops, you'll be strolling elbow-to-elbow in creative inspiration. Experience intimate live performances in the 116-seat black box theater or the indoor/outdoor lake-level stage. Between gallery hopping and curtain calls, head to the back patio or nearby paths to soak in gorgeous sunset views over the lake.

Mine and My Wife's first time to visit here today, and we truly enjoyed it! There are a lot of great open-air spaces, walking, hiking, and biking trails and pathways. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches along the lake's shoreline, stunning views, and bike trails and pathways. Even a few outdoor grills for a delicious picnic lunch to enjoy! We will be back, see y'all there!

You have to get out of your car to enjoy the back side of the Bath House Cultural Center, with its ground level back porch and newly expanded lower level. Best sunsets in Dallas viewed over the lake. A hidden treasure in White Rock Lake Park.
