We had such a great stay! Juan was our main server and made it a very enjoyable experience — the view was also amazing at sunset and the staff was very attentive and were constantly coming by to help out with dishes. The food tasted amazing as well! The fish and lava cake was our favorite.

Barcelona Wine Bar in Dallas offers a comprehensive array of wine selections coupled with a delectable menu, making it a must-visit for wine enthusiasts and foodies alike.

Upon my recent visit, Riley, our server, showcased exceptional knowledge and attentiveness. Not only did Riley expertly guide me through their gluten-free options, but they also curated the perfect wine to complement my palate, elevating the dining experience.

The ambiance was delightful, the service impeccable, and Riley's dedication to ensuring a memorable evening truly stood out. Whether you're seeking a refined wine selection or a culinary adventure, Barcelona Wine Bar, coupled with Riley's exemplary service, promises an unforgettable dining experience in Dallas.

I have to say, Sam was the most exceptional general manager imaginable—an individual whose intuition, leadership, and empathy transcended every expectation. She consistently went above and beyond, navigating even the most complex situations with clarity, grace, and wisdom. Her ability to understand and support me through my experiences was extraordinary, as she always found ways to offer solutions, perspective, and encouragement that inspired both confidence and growth. Sam’s leadership was not just managerial—it was deeply human, profoundly insightful, and the true embodiment of what it means to guide with heart and excellence.

We booked a reservation for Saturday at 6:30 pm, and I’m glad we did because this place was packed. We waited about 15 minutes at the bar before being seated at our table. I had been craving Spanish food for a while, and after seeing all the glowing reviews, I thought it was worth a try.

We ordered several popular Spanish dishes, and while I didn’t expect them to be exactly like what you’d find in Spain, I did hope they’d be somewhat close. Overall, the dishes tasted lovely, but authentic? Not really.

When I ordered the pulpo gallego, I was expecting the traditional style: sliced potatoes layered at the bottom with pieces of octopus drizzled in olive oil and paprika. Instead, the octopus came out whole with just two potatoes on the plate. The chorizo, however, was excellent, and the patatas bravas were really good too. The salads, like the burrata and watermelon, were very small and nothing memorable. The bacon-wrapped dates came with a Valdeón mousse, which I personally think could be swapped for something else. I’ve had dates stuffed with chorizo at another Spanish spot, and those were truly chef’s kiss!

The olive oil cake, though, was absolutely delicious—I would order that again and again.

The restaurant has a beautiful outdoor seating area, perfect for cooler evenings when you just want to enjoy a glass of wine with a few bites. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which really added to the experience.

Would this be my first choice whenever I’m craving authentic Spanish food? Probably not. But if you want to get a taste of some Spanish flavors, it’s worth checking out. Having tried so many restaurants in Spain, it’s hard not to compare, but overall, this is a solid option in Dallas.

Bonus: they offer free valet parking for diners, which is always a plus.

Food was great and the ambience was lovely! Pretty loud in there from everyone's conversations and chatter, but that makes the restaurant so much more lively. I went here for a girls night and we had loads of fun. The food was delicious. My favorite plates were the shrimp, pork belly, empanada, and paella. The service was fast and our waitress was lovely.

They had free valet at the front of the restaurant, and the location was easy to find. I would recommend this restaurant as a dinner for families, date nights, girls nights, etc!

I had the pleasure of dining at Barcelona Wine Bar last night. I was so excited to try it while on vacation in Dallas. It definitely did not disappoint. Although loud, the restaurant vibe was fabulous. They also have a lovely outdoor patio. The attentive staff went above and beyond checking in on how the meal was going. They could not have been nicer. Although we were only two of us, we tried as many dishes as possible. Everything was outstanding. Please come to Michigan. Thank you for a fabulous experience

We visited Barcelona Wine Bar later in the evening and everything about it was exceptional. The vibe was relaxed and intimate with dim lighting and beautifully curated decor. It felt cozy and effortlessly cool all at once.

Our server Bowser who also manages the place was outstanding. He had this perfect mix of humor professionalism and genuine warmth that made the night feel personal and memorable. Even though we came in close to closing we never felt rushed. He made us feel right at home.

I ordered the chicken pimientos and I’m still thinking about it. Easily one of the best chicken dishes I’ve ever had. Rich flavorful and perfectly cooked. My partner ordered a couple of tapas and every bite was just as impressive.

I usually stick to Napa Valley wines but Bowser chose a Spanish wine that completely won me over. It was smooth delicious and surprisingly affordable. He even gifted it to us in honor of our anniversary which was such a kind and unexpected gesture.

We didn’t get to try the paella this time around but it’s at the top of our list for the next visit. Honestly I’m half tempted to move back to Dallas just to be closer to this place or hope that something like it opens in Fort Worth.

If you are considering going just do it. The food the wine and the people are all amazing.
