We loved the restaurant and the ambiance, it really felt like France. We had a great wine and the food was fantastic! We’ll definitely go back.

We had the truffle fries, the oysters, the burrata and ratatouille, and the chocolate mousse. It was simple but excellent. And I say that as a French person. :)

By partner surprised me and took me here for my birthday. I love the restaurants character. The staff was great and the chef made an amazing chocolate mouse for me for my birthday dessert.

Super intimate spot (no wonder it took forever to get a reservation lol) that transports you right to Paris. They offer plenty of martinis and the honey truffle baguette is definitely a standout.

I honestly expected the steak frites to be a little better than it was, but it was still a really solid meal.

If you’re a matchbook collector, they have them at the host stand!

Fantastic! French Chef makes delicious fresh foods. Everything we tried was outstanding and the serving staff couldn’t have been more kind. Definitely try! Reservation are preferred but bar seating is open to first come.

Very cute and intimate dining. The reservations open 30 days in advance on OpenTable, so I recommend booking in advance- I booked this reservation 3 weeks in advance. There are only about 10 tables inside and about 4 outside. They do have the bar open but there’s only about 6 stools available. This is located in Snider Plaza where parking can be very hard, but you do have the option to go all the way down to the parking garage by Ramble Room and park there and they will validate your parking. No valet available. We started off with the Truffle Frites and aïoli Dip Trio, these made a good pairing and they both were very flavorful. I got the Fluffy Pinnapple Margarita, in my opinion it was a little too much fluff and a little bitter, but it was fine. For my main course, I got the Lobster Ravioli which came with about 5 raviolis and a good little amount of Lobster. It was seasoned very well and tasted fresh (as fresh as you can get in Dallas Lolol) and my friend got the Tuna TarTar (small version) and she loved it ! Overall great experience, I would go again, just hard planning a month in advance lol

I love any Vandelay Hospitality Group restaurant so of course I was incredibly excited to dine at Bar Sardine. Although it took 21 minutes for an initial table tap and greeting, it was clear that our male server wasn’t prepared to take wait our table. I tried not to take it personally, but his service doesn’t represent Vandelay’s top tier service. Our reservation was for 2pm so I’ll assume it’s due to the skeleton shift today. Luckily the kind and well versed bar tender cared for us and truly turned our experience around! (I wish I grabbed her name). I’m very grateful for her expertise, especially in light of the Mother’s Day weekend, I’m excited to give Bar Sardine another try because of her.

We walked next door to Jack & Harry! And every greeting from a manager, bar tender, and server truly exemplified the Vandelay Hospitality Group experience which is what I’m used to ♥️ can’t wait to return!

The atmosphere is amazing, so intimate, perfect to turn any night into a special occasion. The scallops were delicious and the burger was to die for! Only complaint is the truffle fries were a bit pungent but they were so perfect otherwise it wasn't too much to overlook.
