I recently dined at Adelmo’s Ristorante, and it was a wonderful experience overall. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and intimate—exactly the kind of cozy trattoria you’d hope for when craving Italian comfort food. The décor feels classic and romantic, making it perfect for a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends.

The menu offers a great mix of traditional Italian favorites alongside creative, contemporary twists. I tried the pre-theater menu, which was well thought out and perfectly portioned for a full evening ahead. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked, the sauces rich and flavorful without being heavy, and the seafood was tender and beautifully seasoned.

The service was attentive for the most part, though there were a couple of moments where we had to wait a bit longer than expected for drink refills. Nothing that ruined the night, but it kept me from giving a full five stars.

Overall, Adelmo’s is a charming spot with delicious food, a great wine selection, and an ambiance that makes you want to linger a little longer. I’ll definitely be back—especially to explore more of their regular menu. It’s a true Dallas gem for anyone who loves thoughtful Italian cuisine.

Great experience with our party of 10 birthday dinner.
Large menu with many faves and Italian specialties. Full bar with a varied wine menu.
Appetizer came fast and were delicious. Octopus was succulent. Meatballs were well seasoned and light. Both the sauteed and fried Calamari were tender and tasty.
Everyone liked their main dishes from my perfectly cooked Veal Chop to the fillet of sole to the lamb chops to the Chicken Parm.
Very attentive service from staff and owners

The atmosphere was very pleasant and calm, and it wasn’t too loud. Our waiter, Jeffrey, was very nice and provided excellent service. The food was the real star though. Everything from the lobster bisque to the Cappuccino ice cream cake was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

We were in the area and randomly selected this restaurant and it did not disappoint! We were able to reserve a table online for New Years Eve. The restaurant has a very family/quaint feel. Great selection of Wines. They are able to handle large parties as well if needed. The service works as a team and they continuously ensure you have what you need.

We really enjoyed the food: Smoked Salmon appetizer, Osso Bucco Gnochi, Tortellini Boscaiolla (very creamy!), Creme Brule.

Our only disappointments were the salads. My complimentary house salad seemed really dry and not sure if there was any dressing at all. My husband upgraded to a Caesar Salad - it was a $4.50 upcharge, it was very small, and was very dry (with little cheese). We didn't come there for the salads, so I'm not affecting their rating.

If we are in the area again, we would love to stop by again!
