Food was delicious! Service was excellent and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Food is locally sourced.
Appetizers: We tried the Parker House rolls - they’re much smaller than I anticipated and they come in a small cast iron skillet. They melt the beef tallow candle in front of you. Beautiful presentation and the flavor is mild, but has a hint if rosemary. Very good choice for a table.
Salad: Tried the Caesar salad as an appetizer as well. Lettuce is covered with the perfect amount of dressing and it has a little kick to it (not overwhelmingly though). Definitely one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had.
Steak: Coulotte cap steak is marinated and has a chimichurri drizzle. Ordered it medium rare and it was very tender and juicy, cooked perfectly. Chimichurri sauce was the perfect addition to it and really amped up the flavor. Absolutely delicious steak.
Au Poivre steak was order medium+, I tried some and it was still very tender and had a great taste. I don’t think you could go wrong with either one of these steaks.
Seafood: Red Fish was very tender and cooked perfectly. Fish was flaky and melts in your mouth. Has capers under it, but they aren’t overwhelming. Highly recommend.
Dessert: The cheesecake came highly recommended by our server and it delivered! It was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life. The caramel sauce on top is amazing as well. Can’t recommend enough!
They have a rotating crème brûlée flavor; we didn’t try it, but it was Texas peach. I love crème brûlée, and I heard it was amazing, so I’ll have to come back to try it out!
Drinks: bar was a little slow when we first got there in getting our drinks, but it was only initially. Flavors were really good. The macchiato martini is to die for. If you like espresso martinis, try this!! The foam on top is like an amaretto flavored foam. So delicious!
