My dog Lincoln and I had an absolutely fantastic weekend (10-12 July 2026) staying at Texican Court. From the moment we arrived, the entire team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, especially Lincoln, who was treated like a VIP with so much love and attention. A few standout staff members made our trip truly special: Cora and Austin at the front desk, who gave us a warm, seamless welcome and set a great tone for the whole stay. Desiree, who crafted some of the best margaritas I've ever had and provided top-tier service. Blake and his counterpart at the valet were incredibly prompt, helpful, and attentive every time we needed our vehicle. The housekeeping crew (whose names I didn't get) did an amazing job keeping everything spotless and comfortable. The hospitality here is unmatched, and the pet-friendly atmosphere made traveling with my service dog completely stress-free. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Texican Court to anyone looking for an exceptional place to stay!

Amazing experience! Stayed here for a birthday weekend/to see a concert at Toyota Music Factory. Perfect location. Beautiful rooms and grounds, comfortable bed, great staff. Fully stocked drink fridge. Love the pool and the restaurant. Noon checkout is even better! Will be back, thank you!

Im currently sitting in my room, in possibly the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever laid on and I’m thinking I literally don’t want to leave tomorrow. This hotel is IT. The staff: 10/10 The room: 10/10 The beds: 20/10 The food: 10/10 I slept 9 hours last night. That hasn’t happened since college. Something about this room/bed/hotel is extremely calming and restful. I am MASSIVELY mold sensitive. I’ve had zero reaction here, despite having carpet and the rooms being external and close to the pool. I’m on the top floor, which I requested. I arrived at 8am for a conference at the convention center to hopefully leave my luggage here. The guy at the front desk asked if I wanted to check in early for $30 - say less. Within 5 min I was up in my room - a welcome surprise! I don’t know if I’ll ever be back here again but I hope I will! I’m so happy I stayed here

Rooms were good, outdoor court was good, but what really made my trip special was the front desk worker, Soham. He always greeted my friends and I with a pearly white smile and the most welcoming attitude. One night, we were hungry and all we had was hard cup ramen and a cup of cold water, but through Soham's kindness (and the help of a microwave), he was able to make it into a full meal. He inspires me in my life as a worker who does his job to absolute excellency. And he isnt just a great worker, but a truly amazing person. He saw us hungry, and worked with what we had to make us food. He saw us nervous and shy at first, but left us feeling motivated and joyful. Because of Soham, the Texican truly feels like home.

This place was so cute, extremely comfortable and accommodating. Full size fridges that are stocked with beverages, a super cute complimentary treat and personalized note waiting in the room. Huge shower with good quality soaps and a super niche robe. Staff was very helpful and kind. Pool area was perfect! The restaurant was great, I ate there about 3x and didn’t have a bad meal. I highly recommend the fajitas and Diablo margarita. All in all very clean, great staff and wonderful amenities!

Truly one of my favorite staycations. The team here was awesome, the bed super comfortable. Everything is reasonably priced. The food and drinks are great and the best part is the live music. The place is clean and comfortable and the location can’t be beat if you are wanting to be close to Toyota music. There was one huge downfall and that is smoking is allowed on property. We left the live music early because someone was smoking a cigar. Truly a shame, I can’t think of many things that will ruin a property faster. I couldn’t bring myself to rate them lower but the reality is we won’t be back until it’s a smoke free property.

My husband and I booked a room at the Texican Court for the night, while we were in town to see a show. We live in the north Houston area. Our room was in the courtyard around the pool. Room was clean, comfortable and adorable! The staff was extremely helpful and polite. Love the pre bagged ice in the ice machines, plus a freezer in the room for storage! The mini bar is extremely well stocked! The hotel itself is adorable and has the best vibes. Tons of nice outdoor seating areas with cozy fire pits and plenty of wood available for guests to toss in. There happened to be live music the night we were there, and the band was awesome (Christopher Wright) music was chill and Chris was super friendly, chatting with us while they were setting up. We followed the artist on Instagram because we enjoyed the music so much! Dinner at two mules was delicious and very reasonably priced. We shared the brisket flat bread (by far the star of the show) and the dip appetizer (just okay, honestly) my husband had chicken enchiladas with salsa verde, I had fish tacos, both were delicious. In the morning we had coffee and possibly the best cheese danish I’ve ever had in my life, at the coffee bar. The hotel pool was adorable, small but pretty! It was too cold for swimming on our stay, though. This feels like a mini resort! The location is amazing with plenty of entertainment within walking distance. We will book a longer stay this summer when the pool water is warm. I would not rate this hotel as child friendly, and I’m 100% okay with that (we left ours with the grandparents) The pool is small, suited for adults lounging. Property was quiet and well maintained. Honestly, a total vibe and excellent value for everything available! We didn’t even stop at the tequila bar, that’ll be for our next visit. 10/10 do recommend (just don’t bring young children and ruin it for everyone else, I promise you this hotel is too small and the menus aren’t kid friendly) Fantastic for a couples getaway!!

This is a real gem in the heart of Irving! I am on vacation, and I booked this hotel without knowing that I would have the best time ever! The hotel rooms are spacious with lots of amenities on the grounds. They have a very nice restaurant and a wonderful bar and coffee shop. The beds are comfortable and the decoration is very southern style. Above all, the employees are very professional and friendly. Señor Mario at the main restaurant went an extra mile to make us feel welcomed and well served! I would definitely recommend it!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Texican Court! The whole place nails that balance of stylish but not pretentious. The room was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and full of charming details — including a retro Smeg fridge stocked with a surprisingly reasonable and high-quality mini-bar. The courtyard was an unexpected highlight: cozy seating everywhere and a large fire pit that staff lit for us while we were relaxing outside — such a perfect touch. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, attentive, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel welcome. We ordered room service from the on-site restaurant and were blown away — truly some of the best Tex-Mex we’ve had. (We’ll probably write a separate review just for the restaurant!) Even though the weather kept us from enjoying the pool, it was gorgeous — definitely a place we’d love to lounge next time. The location in Irving felt upscale but relaxed, super clean, and close to plenty of amenities. We were right across from a very cool, modern convention center — great design and a fun backdrop. Considering the design, comfort, amenities, and overall vibe, Texican Court feels like a great value. It’s perfect for couples or groups who want something unique, comfortable, and a little bit special. We’ll definitely be back!

This hotel is a gem for my colleague and me who were there for work from out of state - the Texas theme is so cute! You feel like you are entering a Texas ranch at first, and the facade looks like the Alamo. You get a bottle of Lone Star beer upon checking in and are immediately taken by the charm of the decor. My favorite spots are the open courtyard with Adirondack chairs and picnic tables in front of the huge brick fireplace. A great place to unwind with a cocktail or lounge with a book. The pool is gorgeous though I didn’t use it. The fitness room was super clean and welcoming, with fresh towels, cold water, and a big screen TV. It was empty every day I went and had your typical cardio machines and weights - just enough for an after work workout. The rooms were big and the bathrooms have barn doors and custom bathrobes to use. A full-sized fridge was a nice touch though I wish I had a microwave. Plenty of mini bar drinks and snacks if you want them, fluffy towels, and comfy bedding. I LOVE the rocking chairs outside of the doors! One thing I wish I knew was that they have a shuttle that will take you within like a mile of the hotel, since I used Lyft to go to the nearby restaurants (close, but it’s NOT a walkable area with the busy streets). I highly recommend this hotel for business or personal travel.

I recently stayed at the Texican as I was attending Vidsummit and it was absolutely wonderful! From check-in to check-out the staff at the front desk to the staff in the Two Mules were all very welcoming. I stayed on the first floor and could only hear activity from outside my door when room service stopped by as well as the staff to check on our mini-bar items - which we declined as it was still rather early for myself and friend and nothing had been taken at that moment - I do wish we had had an ample amount of time to properly respond before the door started to open, but not much was seen - two knocks, both met with one moment before the door was entered so maybe within the span of 30 seconds. The only other time when noise could be heard was the very last night my best friend and I were there, after the event had ended another group had checked in that Friday/Saturday and from 2100 to around 0100 we could hear chatter coming from the new group. Parking was great up until that very last night while attending as well, coming back from dinner I was unable to find a good spot as several guests had parked their vehicles like madmen. Moving onto how the inside of our room was - beautiful and spacious. There was enough room to place my several bags I had brought, as well as room for my service animal when she had the zoomies. The bathroom was bigger than expected, however a little unease of going with only a sliding door to separate us from any business we had to do, lol. My one flaw with the shower though, I guess two, but we'll start with the first is that when showering, the liner to keep the water in did not do so well that when stepping out, the floor and shower towel that was placed in front of it did become wet/soaked. Myself and my best friend had taken a step out the shower and nearly slipped. My suggestion would be to possibly lower the rod just a smidge or add longer liners - the lowering of the rod I feel would be more cost sufficient. My other add would be to add the handheld shower heads, but this is more of a preference than anything. For the price I paid for five nights, my expectations were met and I would gladly stay here again when attending another conference. Oh, and your bedding was extremely comfy! Though I could've had at least one firmer pillow, I did not want to leave the bed! Thank you to everyone who worked at the hotel for making my stay so pleasant.

had an incredible stay at Texican Court. Jasmine, Jennifer, Yesenia, Austin, and the whole team were welcoming, thoughtful, and made everything easy from the moment I arrived. The property has a relaxed, boutique feel — stylish rooms, comfortable beds, great outdoor spaces with fire pits and a pool. Every interaction felt genuine. The staff went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Two Mules Cantina was excellent for both drinks and food, and the location made it simple to get around DFW while still feeling tucked away. If you’re looking for a place with character, comfort, and a staff that truly cares, Texican Court is outstanding. I’ll definitely stay here again.

We book with The Texican each time we attend an event at the Toyota Music Factory (within walking distance from the hotel) or any need we have in this area! This was our third time booking with them and have never been disappointed. The staff is top notch, always so kind and helpful, never had an issue with our reservation and the rooms are always clean and inviting. They have a great courtyard for evening visits and a fire in the outdoor fireplace. Such a cozy place. Always a favorite stay! You do have a separate pay-to-park qr to scan, not included in your reservation if you choose not to valet, so be aware and take care of that so you don't get a fee but the cost is reasonable. Parking is available around the building so you are always near a keyed-entry door close to your room. Also, they have a neat little shop in the concierge office with unique gifts/finds to purchase as a reminder of your great stay as well as a small bar, restaurantthat is terrific and even a coffee shop we finally tried, this time. It was great, as we expected!

Honestly, GREAT experience. I came here for a conference and the stay was great. I loved the theme of the hotel, the aesthetic, the cleanliness, the location and the STAFF. Both Ariel and Selena at the front desk were so sweet, kind and helpful; I hope their managers read this because they are both gems of the company! They made my stay memorable, answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable during my trip. I will absolutely stay here my next trip! Thank you
