The hotel itself is massive and beautifully kept. Thankfully there is posted signage through the property to help navigate.
The spa smelled glorious—rich notes of eucalyptus and lavender before you even enter the building. Music is so soothing and melodic—really puts you in the mindset to decompress. The waiting areas have plush seating and charming decor. There’s a designated parking lot for the spa & it’s charged by the hour. Relache does validate.
The spa provides shoes, locker & a robe. They offer complimentary mimosas and champagne as well as small snacks & water in their lounge. There is a sauna, slumber room, steam room, showers & access to nearby indoor pool (not heated).
First time getting a facial and the experience with Cristina was remarkable. Very gentle, takes a thorough assessment of your skin before the service and even made recommendations regarding future care and consistency. My massage was… okay. The masseuse was kind of rough when moving my body—swift in her movements when grabbing/turning my arms, head or neck which caused my body to be jerked.
Overall the experience was enjoyable and the staff were friendly and attentive. My only concerns were the temperature and lack of jacuzzi inside the spa area. It was quite hot throughout the spa, seems the A/C may not have been working. They did however setup box fans throughout. There is a jacuzzi on the property but it’s outdoors and uncovered which isn’t ideal in Texas heat. Would have been nice to soak and relax the muscles prior to the massage.
Would like to return to experience the hotel itself.
