Cozy, quirky, and full of charm, this dinner theater gem turns an ordinary date into something you’ll still be quoting months later. With only about 140 seats, this theatre makes you feel like you’re part of the story. You're close enough to hear a whisper, see expressions, maybe even get caught in a popcorn flurry. The shows alternate between melodramatic classics (with plenty of audience participation) and lighter comedies. You can have dinner service before the show , with simple but tasty fare like sandwich plates, soups, salads, nachos, pizzas, desserts, wine & beer.

What a great little theater! You can see traditional plays/musicals (with or without throwing popcorn at the villians) or play trivia or music bingo. Whatever is going on, there is not a bad seat. They also serve food and drinks.

It was a lot of fun. Small theater with interactive play. Actors were great and production was very professional. Will definitely go again. Food and service were also very good.

Awesome place to go for a date night or take your whole family. I have been going for years and the owner is soooo sweet and nice. I honestly wish they offered VIP packages like “Billy bobs Texas “ in Ft worth they offer packages you can purchase and support the organization. Also it makes the customer feel special also being a member of such an amazing business. If you’re reading reviews here with any 1-4 star ratings those folks are special literally and need a hug. Pocket Sandwich theater is amazing and always comes through with fun and awesome food. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been at least 100 times guessing and never had a bad night or no laughs or fun. Please buy your tickets and support an amazing owner and her business that she tries so hard on and she keeps it going with happy families always excited for the next show and post online for future shows. She’s amazing and Pocket Sandwich theater is amazing!!!!!!

I love this theater. However, I stopped attending the melodramas because it ended up being hours of people behind me pouring popcorn on me, which is not fun. The other plays are very fun! Plus, the food is good. Take in lunch and a matinee.

Such a fun and unique experience! The Pocket Sandwich Theater is a true Dallas gem — intimate, lively, and absolutely hilarious. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the energy and excitement. The shows are creative and full of audience participation (yes, you will get to throw popcorn!). The actors are talented and make every performance unforgettable. Plus, the staff is so friendly, and the food and drinks are great for a casual night out. If you’re looking for something different and wildly entertaining, this place is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!

If I could rate this place a 100, I would. FOR THOSE SLEEPING ON NOT CHECKING OUT THIS THEATRE, RUN AND VISIT. This place is hands down the BEST theatre I’ve ever gone to. I have been attending this Theatre since they were located in Dallas off Mockingbird and every single time I have gone here, I have loved every single experience. I moved a few years ago to another city and happened to be in town for the weekend and when I saw there was a Melodrama happening, I KNEW we had to go visit! Yesterday was my first time taking my daughter and partner and they had such a blast. From the moment we entered the box office, the owner Mrs. Dickinson was SO amazing and treated us like royalty. Our server Shanon was HILARIOUS and SO attentive. He had a popcorn throwing battle during the intermissions with my daughter and she had a BLAST and was laughing so much. The melodrama was so great and full of so many laughs. The characters were amazing! The food was so great and the restrooms were so clean. There is nothing more I would’ve wanted to make this an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be returning. If the owner sees this, thank you SO much for making us feel so special and making this an amazing experience. This theatre now located in Carrollton was great and it was so refreshing to feel like I was RIGHT BACK off of mockingbird lane by preserving the theatre exactly how I remembered it there. If you haven’t already, RUN AND BOOK YOUR TICKETS I PROMISE YOU WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED. BEST THEATRE EVER. 🎭
