This place is a must visit if you are in the Dallas area. Service and food were both phenomenal! Don't leave without having the garlic noodles and the rice cake appetizer.

hands down my favorite restaurant in Dallas!!!! Stuffed leaks, oysters, garlic noodles, kimchi fritters and the bao buns are all musts!!!

Cozy little spot for very creative mash-up of various Asian ingredients and dishes, with a few Vietnamese offerings but not their focus anymore as some of the online info suggests. Service was super attentive, dishes were all detailed, thoughtful and delicious at good temps. There are lots of little surprises n most of the dishes so u really should explore and share ur menu choices w a friend! Definitely want to make it back when it cools down a little to enjoy the patio. Well done gang…super yum.

Service is exceptional. This place deserves a Michelin Star. Im convinced there isn't anything bad on the menu at all. If you love attention to detail, fresh & real ingredients this place is for you! If you have a problem with small & expensive dishes go to McDonald's instead.

One of my favorite meals of the entire year. Mot Hai Ba dished out absolutely incredible entrees and sides (especially the coppa and garlic noodles), and the drink selection was backed by a talented bartender and a small but really high quality liquor, wine and beer selection. Great treat if you want a savory, delicious meal to celebrate a special occasion. They were able to accommodate food allergies (gluten, dairy, peanuts) with zero issues. 11/10.

Started off with the tuna stracciatella, and it was super tasty and a good way to kick things off. The oysters? Absolutely phenomenal. Fried octopus was just fine (nothing crazy, but not bad). The branzino though… chef’s kiss and definitely the standout of the night. Wagyu short ribs with calamari were so good, but honestly the branzino is still the winner. Also, shoutout to the lemongrass bolognese, super flavorful and memorable. Service was on point, and the vibes were really good. Would 100% come back to Mot Hai Ba!

Mot Hai Ba is an exceptional Vietnamese restaurant and easily one of my favorites in Dallas. We visited back in May and tried several standout dishes: the Crispy Vietnamese Rice Cake, Stuffed Leeks, Shaking Beef, and Garlic Noodles. The rice cake, shaking beef, and garlic noodles were absolutely outstanding, rich in flavor and beautifully executed. Definitely worth coming back for! The ambiance is intimate and perfect for a date night or a special occasion. On top of that, the bartender was fantastic; knowledgeable, friendly, and made spot-on recommendations for both cocktails and wine pairings that really elevated the meal. A memorable dining experience from start to finish. Can’t wait to return!
