We had dinner after the opera (very convenient). It was nice to be served bread with three different spreads as we sat at table since the opera had lasted 3.5 hours and we were very hungry. The appetizers Wagyu Polpette and Frito Misto were outstanding, as were the Cacio e Pepe gnocchi and the Sage Butter Agnoletti pasta that our table of four shared as a second course. The pastas are all made in-house and melted in your mouth! For our main course we shared the Mixed Griglia, the Veal Chop and the stuffed chicken breast, which were all superb. To end the meal we all shared the Chocolate and Pistachio layer cake which was heaven in every bite, and large enough for our whole table to share. The wine pairings were fabulous, and we really enjoyed visiting and discussing wine with the sommelier Richard Luftig. We will definitely be returning to La Stella on our next trip to Dallas!

Everything was impeccable. From the food, the service, and atmosphere. We brought our friend here for her birthday and she loved it. Staff made us feel very welcomed! I wish the live entertainment lasted longer.

Visiting from Toronto for business, I stumbled upon La Stella Cucina Verace — and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve had anywhere. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere struck the perfect balance of elegance and warmth. You can feel the passion and authenticity behind every detail.

The food was exceptional — rich, balanced, and full of true Italian soul. Every dish felt like it was crafted with care, from the fresh ingredients to the beautiful presentation. You can tell the kitchen takes real pride in its work.

But what truly sets the evening apart was the exceptional service led by Paco Hernandez. His attentiveness, charm, and deep knowledge of the cuisine transformed dinner into something memorable. Paco’s gracious demeanor and instinct for hospitality reflected the heart of what La Stella stands for — warmth, authenticity, and a genuine love for the guest experience.

If you’re ever in town, La Stella Cucina Verace is an absolute must. It’s not just dinner — it’s an experience you’ll remember long after you leave.

Wow! This was a last minute decision before attending the Dallas Symphony. La Stella is OUTSTANDING! We decided to stick with drinks and appetizers. The crusty Italian bread is next level. The ricotta spreads are delicious. We had the meatballs (melt in your mouth delicious), the fritto misto (very light and tasty - just needs more than 3 shrimp), and the prosciutto and burrata (again…outstanding).

The cocktails are next level! I decided to drink my dessert and the Pocket Coffee should NOT be missed.

Arif (our waiter) was great. Friendly. Efficient. Knowledgeable. Nate (manager) was very attentive to everyone in the dining room and made a point to visit all tables.

One thing to remember - this is a high-end dining experience. As such, the prices reflect that. In my opinion, 100 percent worth it! We can’t wait to visit the new Addison location.

I look forward to coming back. Gina was a wonderful server. She knew all about the menu. I was greeted by Richard and I mentioned I wanted octopus and he assured me, thatcI was in the right spot. I thoroughly enjoyed the octopus and my pasta dish. I'm now a regular. I will be back with family and friends. It's nice to find a restaurant were the food is truly good. Thanks for being in Dallas.

Atmosphere was spot on. Every dish we ordered was delicious. But the best part of our Ambiance was very nice, every dish we ordered was delicious and to top it off, the entertainment was excellent!
-Singer/piano player was sooooo good. He had a very versatile genre and sounded fantastic. His Playlist was everything I loved. Oldies to the now, as well as opera, he had an incredible voice.
We will definitely be adding la Stella cucina verace to our regular rotation.

La Stella is an exceptional Italian dining experience where timeless tradition meets modern artistry. The octopus was perfectly tender with a kiss of char, the Iberico pork deeply flavorful, and the Wagyu meatballs rich and delicate. House-made pasta was beautifully executed, and the cannoli — crisp, creamy, and just sweet enough — ended the meal on a high note. I loved the citrus kiss and the pistachio crunch. Every dish I tried was perfectly balanced and I am a tough customer (props to the executive chef).
The inside has a very nice ambiance without being too pretentious. It's hard to strike a balance between comfort and refined but they nailed it. The outside area is beautiful as well.
I really enjoyed the live music. Simply incredible talent. The staff is both friendly and attentive.
I dined at the bar. The bartender brought serious craft and charisma, making the bar feel as curated as the kitchen. A rare blend of soul, style, and skill. World class..
