Hotel Swexan is amazing hands down! The valet workers put the cherry on the cake lol! Watching Jarrel tend to the people in front of me then come to me with the same enthusiasm was amazing to watch. He's so kind, helped my friends and I with our luggage and had the biggest smile the entire time. Thanks Jarrel. Top-tier service. I'll be back.

Is this the perfect hotel? I think so. I am yet to find a hotel that so completely combines top notch service, amazing culinary options and every facility one could want, wrapped up in a contemporary, effortlessly stylish setting that feels like you're at home. Where to start? On arrival, a genuine heartfelt welcome from all staff, the General Manager, Julian, set the tone with his friendly demeanour and 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude. That level of attention is reflected in all the staff though and I genuinely can't remember one request that was not acted on immediately and to my satisfaction. The food and drinks are amazing and as for the facilities; having so many top class dining options on site, plus your own bar/club in the classy basement lounge and an effortlessly cool rooftop swimming pool and sun lounging area make the hotel the complete package. I was so sad to leave this place and seriously considered extending my stay and would have had I not had other commitments. I will be back for sure, I just wish the owners of Swexan had more hotels just like this in other towns.

I’ve stayed at Hotel Swexan several times, and the property has consistently impressed me. The rooms are top-notch. The service, from valet to front desk to hospitality, has been outstanding every visit. That history is exactly why I chose Swexan for Mother’s Day brunch. I expected the same elevated experience I’ve come to associate with the hotel.
The service team at brunch delivered. They were attentive, gracious, and made my family feel taken care of from the moment we sat down.
The food did not. What arrived at the table read more like banquet catering than the elevated brunch the menu, the price, and the Swexan name suggested. For what we paid, I expected craft, freshness, and intention on the plate. We got volume.
As we left the ballroom, we decided to give the rooftop restaurant a shot. On previous stays, the rooftop has been a guaranteed win, with great food and great atmosphere. This time it wasn’t. The food took far longer than it should have, and when it arrived, it wasn’t up to the standard we’d come to expect. Our waitress apologized graciously, but at that point we were 0 for 2 on the day.
Hotel Swexan has set a high bar for itself across every other touchpoint I’ve experienced as a guest. On a day like Mother’s Day, one of the most meaningful brunch dates of the year, both kitchens had a chance to meet that bar. Neither did. The front-of-house teams did their part. The kitchens need to meet them there.
Would I stay at Swexan again? Absolutely. Would I bring my family back for another holiday meal at this price point? Not without seeing real changes on the food side, at the ballroom and the rooftop.

My recent stay at the Swexan Hotel was an unforgettable five-star experience from start to finish. This hotel seamlessly blends historic elegance with modern, sophisticated design.
The moment I stepped into the grand ballroom, I was taken by its stunning classical architecture, complete with intricate molding and a bold, black-and-white checkered floor. It was the perfect setting for a formal event.
Our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. The custom grey headboard and stylish blue-and-white geometric rug made the space feel both cozy and curated. I particularly appreciated the large windows that framed beautiful city views. The bathroom was equally impressive, with marble finishes throughout, a spacious double vanity, and a wonderful walk-in shower.
The highlight of the trip, however, was the rooftop. The Swexan has created an absolute oasis with a shimmering pool, comfortable in-water lounge chairs, and chic poolside cabanas. We spent hours relaxing under the stylish scalloped umbrellas, enjoying the stunning cityscape.
The service was impeccable throughout, and every detail, from the neatly folded yellow towels by the pool to the thoughtfully arranged room amenities, was perfect. If you’re looking for a luxurious and unforgettable escape, the Swexan Hotel is the perfect choice. I can’t wait to return!

I had to take a moment to recognize two exceptional valets at Hotel Swexan, Roger and Arnold. They truly made the entire experience unforgettable.

From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. What stood out most was how attentive and genuine they were — not just doing their job, but going above and beyond to make guests feel taken care of.

Roger and Arnold were quick, efficient, and handled everything with such a positive attitude and kindness. It’s rare to encounter service that feels this effortless yet so thoughtful. They made every arrival and departure smooth and pleasant, and they remembered details that made us feel like valued guests rather than just another car pulling up.

Hospitality like this is what sets a luxury hotel apart, and these two represent the very best of what Hotel Swexan offers.

If management sees this, Roger and Arnold deserve major recognition. They are absolute stars and a huge asset to the hotel.

Thank you both for making our stay even more special.

Gorgeous property, nice location, impeccable room views, and true luxury feeling. My highest praise goes to the front office staff for making my stay truly incredible. Savannah, Irene, and everyone I met made it such a special stay. Absolutely worth every cent and HIGHLY recommend doing an in-room massage (Trayce was amazing). Unfortunately what I cannot recommend is Leonie, one of the on site restaurants. Long story short I would give your time and money to one of the other excellent restaurants they have on property. Regardless of the dinner experience, the staff and experience of the actual hotel - I cannot say enough how great it was. Thank you to the team that made my weekend so great, I will absolutely be back.

My family and I were staying at another hotel nearby but decided to visit Swexan after friends recommended their rooftop restaurant, Leonie. We went in the afternoon on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful experience.
The hotel was not busy, which allowed us to enjoy a relaxed and quiet atmosphere. The staff was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. They gifted our baby a Swexan teddy bear, which was very sweet. As this was her very first Christmas, that thoughtful gesture made the experience extra special for us. We only stopped in for a drink since we already had dinner plans, but we were able to enjoy a beautiful sunset with our baby. The hotel feels very boutique, there isn’t a large lobby, but it’s cozy and refined.
First impressions are everything, and Swexan absolutely delivered. We are planning to visit again and maybe stay the night next time.

Hotel Swexan is excellent. My work booked this for our team. I heard nothing but praises from them and I agree. This was only a few blocks from our office. Rooms were modern and spacious. Everything felt new as they opened about two years ago. They serve food and drinks by the rooftop pool if you have a room key. There's also a bunch of restaurants downstairs. Great job everyone at Hotel Swexan.

I recently stayed at Hôtel Swexan in downtown Dallas with a group of friends, and it was nothing short of exceptional. If I wasn't a local, this would undoubtedly be my top choice for accommodation in the city. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a delightful fragrance and an impeccably stylish ambiance. The location couldn't have been better, situated right in the heart of downtown.

The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable. Their friendliness and attentiveness truly stood out. But the crown jewel of our experience was the rooftop pool and restaurant. With stunning views of the city skyline, it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Hôtel Swexan exceeded all our expectations, earning a well-deserved five-star rating.

We have been here many times for cocktails. We tried to have dinner at Leonie’s but messed it up getting too drunk on rooftop bar! Everyone that works here is very kind & super discreet! They have so many fun bars & places to have drinks. We went Friday alive then brought our daughter back Saturday. Truly this place is such a vibe. The drinks are amazing & we had nibbles in a bar they were fabulous. We will be back! It’s honestly one of my fave places in uptown to have cocktails.

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel on a last-minute trip, and it exceeded expectations in every way. The location is superb—conveniently situated with easy access to local attractions and dining. The amenities were impressive, particularly the rooftop pool, which offered a relaxing atmosphere with city views. The overall experience was seamless and comfortable.

One of the best hotel experiences we've ever had. The service was amazing from the moment that we walked in. Friendly, accommodating, and very informative about the amenities and restaurant options. The place was very clean and beautiful. The rooms were spacious and had a fully stocked bar with snacks! There were personal messages left as well, which was a nice touch.

The gym and pool amenities were outstanding. High quality, 24 hr gym, sauna, and cold tub. Rooftop pool area is beautiful and an amazing place to relax, or party on the weekend when it's packed!! Get there early for a cabana. Poolside food and drinks were great as well.

The front desk staff also helped with a package that was late on delivery and had it dropped off a couple days later after checking out. Very helpful and much appreciated.

Outstanding experience, we will definitely be back next time we are in Dallas.

Best hotel we've stayed in, ever! We stayed recently for 5 nights, in a King Room. It was such a lovely experience all around. Their gym, sauna and cold plunge offerings were incredibly impressive, and was our morning routine that we are missing now that we are back home! We were able to enjoy the restaurants and pool (pool gets very busy sat and sun) but it was a vibe for sure! Overall, such an amazing property. Highly recommend.
