This is a very nice Tex Mex restaurant in Dallas. The food is fresh, reasonably priced, and tastes great. The servers are very accommodating, and attentive while not overbearing. The patio is a good size and covered, which makes it perfect for outside dining.

First time at Escondido and was not disappointed at all. Chicken fajitas and chicken enchiladas were both excellent. Our server was extremely friendly and responsive. Chips and salsa as well as the Margaritas were also very good. Certainly worth a visit, and we will be back!

**5/5 Stars – Tex-Mex Perfection! Escondido Mexican Restaurant in Dallas is a must-visit! Nestled at 5950 Royal Ln, this gem serves bold, fresh Tex-Mex in a vibrant setting. The patio’s cozy with twinkling lights, and the service, led by our server Jerry, was spot-on. Chips and smoky guacamole kicked things off right, followed by standout brisket tacos and Guajillo Glazed Shrimp—perfectly balanced and bursting with flavor. Affordable, lively, and with solid vegan options, it’s no wonder Escondido’s a Dallas favorite. Already planning our next happy hour visit!

Such a cute spot! Celebrated my birthday there over lunch with my daughter & mom. The patio was nice & cool even in the warm weather. Very cute vibe & yummy food. The chips and queso are delicious!

This place was amazing. The margaritas are fabulous, the staff was so kind and quick, and the food (steak and shrimp fajitas) was amazing!! Even the rice and beans were so so good!!!

Great food and service. Pictured here is the steak and eggs, and the burrito. Both were fantastic - The potatoes are delicious and crispy, while remaining soft in the center. The steak was tasty as well.
